The laboratory was dark and empty; ominous.
Shadows seeped from every corner, every chair, every desk, and every wall. The cold stillness, the ice cold, senseless aura emanating from the steel, sleek machinery and tables and chairs gave the room a haunting, deadly aura. It smelled of anesthetic and chemicals, of rubber gloves and with a faint whiff of iron. Twin rows of steel, pristine tables ran parallel through the middle of the room. There were leather restraints laying limp there, some draping off of the tables. On the sides, in neat and clean assortments, was equipment. Tubes, phials, microscopes, needles, computers, the entire nine yards were there, lying dead and cold.
At the end of the long room was a heavy metal door. It was barred and locked several times. On a rack nearby hung several spotless white lab coats, and off to the side, matching sets of gloves, boots, and masks. The few box shaped windows set aside in the room were intricately shielded and blocked off, so that not even the slightest ray of sunlight—or moonlight—broke into the holy room. The constant noise of working computers was like that of a beehive, buzzing and droning endlessly. The place was never in complete, natural silence. Nothing here was natural.
Among the droning of the mainframes and the pristine perfection of the lab, one source of light reigned supreme throughout night and day. At the very back of the ominous room were five tall, long tubes filled with liquid of some sort. Each had a different hue, a different color, originating from the tinted lights planted above the tops of the tubes. But there was more—something inside each tube. Creations. Mutants. Creatures. Experiments.
Human-shaped, female experiments.
Actually, they had originally been fully female human babies. Test tube babies. They had never experienced parents of any kind, not that one first look when coming out of the womb, and not the feeling of being in the womb. Created from scientists in an unnatural way; they were created for one purpose: experimentation.
For sixteen years since their ‘birth’, the once fully human children had been tested, prodded, injected and so forth with various substances, each providing a different and unique outcome. It added up, until now, they were bare eighty percent human.
A computer sitting on a table to the right of the line of tubes was on, the black screen glittering with bright, fluorescent numbers. It read: Project 345210123 at 97%.

The humanoid creations were, indeed, Project 345210123.
The first, leading from left to right, of the tubes was tinted red. Inside was a human-shaped body, suspended in the liquid. Tubes and wires covered much of the female’s skin area and if one looked in long enough, they could see the stead pump of more liquids traveling in and out of the body, as well as the odd stillness of her chest. She wasn’t breathing.
The girl was almost nude. Only a stretch of cloth covered the necessary parts of her chest, dyed red, and it was tied in the back into a knot. Another piece of red cloth, fashioned into a skirt of sorts, was tied about her waist.
Locks of vibrant red, curly hair floated like a halo around her head, surrounding her face and brushing lightly against her pale shoulders. Her eyes were closed, and her arms were crossed over her chest in an ‘x’ shape. On a small, white plaque on the front of the tube, was written:

Positive qualities observed:
--Able to create and manipulate pyrokinetics at will
--can alter body heat until skin and hairs are hot enough to melt metal in minutes
--Body repels all things metal
Negative qualities observed:--subject angers quickly
--once roused into a fury, is impossible to calm down
--has a vicious appetite. Absorbs more than twice the amount of nutrients subjects #13-16 do
The next tube over was tinted with a green liquid. The body inside was in the same position as the first, and was identical to the one to its left: female, oddly short, although the bosom area was more voluminous than the one in the red tube chamber. Bright green cloth was wrapped around this one’s body in the very same style and design as the first. Her skin was pale, as was the first.
Her hair was a deep, mahogany brown. It was straight, and cropped her smooth face and flitted around, pushed by the many rising bubbles. Trailing to nearly her knees, her hair was the longest of all the experiments’. The plaque above this one read:

Positive qualities observed:
--Subject’s touch promotes immediate plant growth
--is resistant to most physical blows made by most substances. Subject’s ability to resist is dependant on energy levels, health, and strength overall
--has meager telepathic powers; can read and send thoughts
--is able to absorb body into plants
Negative qualities observed:
--can cause disruptive fields in all of the minds within the vicinity
--may accidentally absorb into said plant and afterward the plant may die, severly injuring subject and/or death.
--is subject to confusion if subject enters too many minds at once
The next tube chamber was tinted blue. The girl inside was in an identical position to those before her. Her skin was translucent, and you could faintly see the blood rushing through her veins. However, it was not red, but blue. Faint blue. Water. The girl’s body was entirely water shaped like a human, and captured inside skin. Her organs and bones were barely visible, and although her eyes were closed, you could see that the irises were orange—she had no pupils.
Every now and then the unconscious body would morph into something. A mouse, a bird, a cat, a dog are examples. There were bright blue cloths wrapped around her rather slim bosom and waist. She was the smallest of the five subjects, her hips jutted out, and there were points at her shoulder where her bones stuck protruded.

Positive qualities observed:
--Can shape shift into anything it wishes
--can see through anything
--is able to focus in on atoms and molecules moving, grab them, and shape them
Negative qualities observed:
--Runs out of energy quickly, needs almost constant nourishment
--DNA is unstable and too much transforming could cause a meltdown and the body to implode upon itself
The fourth, like all the others, was in the same position. Her skin was pasty and almost had a grey tingle to it, her lips were almost charcoal black. Black cloth was tied about her waist and chest like all the others. On her stomach, surrounding her navel was what looked like plates of metal imbedded into her skin in an intricate design. They appeared, almost, to be scales, but in different shapes and sizes. Covering her shoulders was more of the strange material that seemed to have grown from her body out, like shoulder pads, jutting out ominously.
More of the strange occurrence appeared on her face like sideburns, small, little plates curling into a spiral on either side of her face. And along her spine, there were small, spiky ridges like dragon spines growing from her spine. They disappeared into her skin at her neck and just before the tailbone.
There were more metal plates on the back of her palms and on the tops of her bare feet.
This one’s hair was pitch black, and shoulder length. She had a cow lick directly between her eyes.

Codename: Ironbone
Years in Chamber: 16
Positive qualities observed:
--Can manipulate an unbreakable metallic substance from the body
--can shape metallic substance into weapons, shields, etc.
--can also manipulate all known metals
Negative qualities observed:
--does not react well to human emotions
--sinks immediately in water, because the body is completely solid
--the body will freeze up, much tetanus on a normal human, if too much water is absorbed into the system
The last tube chamber was tinted with yellow. The body inside, predictably, had her arms crossed over her chest and had her eyes closed. Her wrappings were a vibrant yellow, and as females went, this one was the casual term ‘pretty much flat-chested’. Large, white, fluffy, feathery angelic wings draped over and around her body like a canopy, and her golden blond hair floated in loose waves down to her elbows.
Now and again, a bright white-yellow spark would snap and flash throughout the chamber. Always, it came from some part of the girl’s body. Static filled the tube like an unseen poison, and if you were to sink your hand into the liquid, you would be nothing more than an ugly black smudge on the nice clean floor.

--the body can send miniature lightning bolts from the fingers and hands
--can fly

--the body is full of static tension. Any contact that is unwanted or surprises the subject will result in electrocution
--has severe fear of enclosed places or small places
--cannot retract wings
All was silent in the lab, except for the constant drone of the computers and the faint bubbling of the liquids in the tubes.
Then, all of the sudden, there was a crash…</span>

Okay, so you have the setting and the story, basically. Well, you know it involves those people things in the chambers. I’m too tired to make this sound pretty, so I’m being blunt. I need five people to play the people. They don’t have names, you can make them up.
The girls also are very intelligent. They know mostly everything scientifical and such. They know the difference between a male and female human, and are capable of human speech. They do not, however, know how to interact with humans, nor do they know slang of any kind. Or curses. So if you offered one your hand to shake after saying hello, she would stare at you like you were meant for the crazy house.
The room that is the setting is a secret lab inside of a seemingly abandoned building on the outskirts of a town. Which is going to remain unnamed, because I don’t feel like thinking of one.
The crash was made by seven teenagers (six boys, one girl), who decided it would be fun to break in. Alcohol is optional, I don’t care. And so, the seven unknowningly stumble into the room and one accidentally, with the momentum from running in, slams against the ‘open chambers’ button. You’d think evil, genetic mutating scientists would learn from past mistakes, know? Apparently not.
I would prefer literate joiners, if you don't mind. I will be taking the spot of Ironbone, and we need other characters.
My intro will be posted when someone else joins. We need teenagers as well.
