Ooc: -is in extreme pain- Guess what time of month it is? ;_; So this is going to be a bit short.
------------
Oh great, I'm in a mental institution, thought Parris sarcastically, glancing at Vea. She looked at her hand skeptically, then quickly shook it.
"Parris DeMonde," she muttered, drawing her hand back. After a moment, Parris glanced at Vea again.
"You don't expect me to believe that this is some sort of...magic school, do you?" she asked haughtily, sneering slightly.

"That depends on whether or not you're that type of person, Parris, love, unless you really are insane," Vea said amicably. "But it's only half a week into school so I expect if you aren't going to enroll there's plenty more time. And anyway, if you don't believe this is a magical academy I don't expect you'll believe that I'm a water mage in training, or a clarevoyant in training, nor that I want to try and see if I can have a go at air magics next year. To be expected, I suppose. Most people adjust quickly enough."
As she spoke, Vea looked around; and hair and hair ornaments began to float in mid-air as she trailed off into space and lost her normally very rigid control on her telekinetic powers. Her glance strayed to the nearest clock and she swore again, this time in Spanish. "Late for Science; Mister Thompson'll kill me," she said hastily, blushing. "Sorry for the swearing, loves."

"I suppose I am insane, or else I wouldn't be here," said Parris lightly, raising an eyebrow. She slowly stood and stretched, glancing down the halls.
"It's ai'ight. I don't speak Spanish, anyway," she said coolly, scratching the back of her head. After a moment, she realised she had no idea where to go.
"Do you have any idea where I'm supposed to go?" she asked, feeling slightly embarrassed that she had to ask. Maybe I should have listened to the crazy lady and just turned into a table...

" Well If you find out what class to go to tell me. I have to find that out too. Maybe its in a school map or something. Well first we will probably need to find the head office and then we have to ask what our scheduals are."
((sorry about the One-liner before))

"Well..."
Vea pondered this for a fleeting moment, before her aqua and brown eyes lit up. "I know; you could come with me and I could show you around. Or maybe Alanis here can. Love, I think you're new here too?"
Without waiting for an answer, Vea began to rummage in her bag, pulling out rubbish and odds and ends of things in her search for a school map. Among these items were a myriad of fake fruit including two plastic apples and one large authentic coconut, scissors, a long strip of cloth that seemed to be a scarf, a bottle of spring water and the textbook Vea had been studying before, strewn pell-mell all over the glossy checkerboard floor. "Calla's right, by the way," Vea remarked, finally tugging out a ragged piece of what seemed to be parchment that was extremely long and reached down to her bare knees when she held it and stood up, leaving her open school bag on the floor, lying forlorn on its side in the middle of all the clarevoyant's belongings.
"Got it," she said with satisfaction. Spreading the parchment on the floor and placing her right index finger on the bottom right corner, Vea smiled when she saw that spidery lines of magicked ink spread across the paper. "There we go. Everyone in the school gets one of these, just in case," she said cheerily. "So, see, we're on the third floor and Headmistress Silverstein's office is on the first floor, right next to the inner courtyard and the infirmary. Maybe we can find that portal you want while we're at it, Parris."

"Sounds like a plan," said Parris simply, nodding. "I have know idea where I'm going. Lead the way."
At the mention of the portal, Parris stopped to think for a moment. "You know, I think I'll wait on that. Maybe this place really is what you say it is. I suppose I should find out."

"Agreed, love," replied Vea as she resolutely nodded and pointed down the empty corridor. "Stairs are that way, by the way."
Standing, Vea gestured with her hands to each of her possessions in turn so that they floated serenely into her bag, as quickly as if the clarevoyant had done that often before; which she had, ever since she'd figured out how. A few moments later, the end of a scarf disappeared into the now bulging school bag, the latch closing itself promptly. Clapping her hands together, Vea smiled, and said, "Well, shall we?"
Without waiting for an answer, she turned quickly and began to walk down the hallway, taking quick, fleet steps so that her blue and purple spotted ankle socks were nothing but a small blur of color above her scuffed converse sneakers.

Parris nodded and looked towards the stairs, trying to put a mental image of them in her mind, in case she got lost here again.
After a moment she realised Vea had already started walking, and quickly followed, soon walking briskly beside her.
"Will I need to see anyone about...accomodations(sp?) and stuff like that?"

OoC; I believe you spelled accomodations right.
BiC; "Third floor's dormitories. If you can't get one, you can sleep in mine if you want. I keep a purple sleeping bag under my bed at all times just in case, so you can have the bed. I doubt that'll be needed, though; they'll probably get you set up with a dormitory of your own once you figure out what you can do. For future reference, Parris, lovie, my room's number eleven, down the aquamarine water mage's corridor. You should recognize it," Vea said casually, if vaguely, turning the corner and starting down a staircase made of marble and glass so that her footsteps echoed hollowly in the normally silent corridor. Of course, she was right: the clarevoyant girl was the only girl who bothered to decorate her door both inside and out, hanging several colorful ties from the doorknob so that it was almost inpossible to discern from undere a small mass of pink and blue and green, artfully arranged to Vea's unique taste; and not to mention the several overlapping posters and splashes of paint on the door itself.
Flicking a braid back so that the glass beads adorning it glittered in the hallway, Vea immediately went down another staircase, running her fingers down the bar as she went; the girl dubbed Eldorado looked back, checking to see if Parris was still with her, but only for a moment. Smiling wickedly, Vea hoisted herself onto the rail, letting her hands go as she slid down sleekly, landing smartly on her feet with a thunk as if she had done it dozens of times before - which she had, of course; it was her third or fourth year there, after all. "First floor, Parris, Calla, loves," she said cheerily, standing there as she waited for them to catch up, hand fiddling with the clasp of her messenger bag.

"Thanks, I think I'd prefer a room to myself," she said, though not at all in a mean way. "Or atleast, until someone else is assigned to that room, if that even happens." Hopefully it doesn't.
Parris ran quickly down the stairs to catch up, skipping stairs occasionally. When she was at Vea's side again, she asked, "But do I have to be assigned to a room? Or do I just pick a room myself?.."

"Well, I suppose that depends. I mean, the last head, Rulle, he let people pick their dorms. Ended up nasty for some of them, like archenemies picking the same rooms so that they could get at each other. Once there was even an attempted murder by this fire mage called Nicholas Wade, who tried to set Sarah Veninni on fire. Luckily, she was a water mage and clarevoyant, like me, with a spark of fire magic, too, which was why," Vea said amicably. "Of course, Wade did turn out to be insane. Old roommate could do mind control, rumor was. Anyway, Silverstein's a nice headmistress, so if she takes a liking to you I guess she might let you pick your own dormitory. Depends on what you can do, of course. Most people in the fire mage corridor have to share rooms; lots of people have fire magic nowadays, which is why the shapeshifter corridor's usually pretty much empty. Funny, really, but I really liked that shapeshifting boy last year - he was transfered to Rynosis Academy, I heard - and he used to go around making his hair as crazy as mine. Chris was really great; I do hope you're a shapeshifter too."
Stopping in front of a blackened wooden door, Vea grinned at Parris, pointing at it and whispering, "Be careful now. Silverstein's a telepath, and she's really good with earth and fire magic, especially the fire bit. Don't cross her. Nasty temper, but a really excellent mage and school head."
Opening the door telekinetically with a wave of her hand, Vea entered, obviously expecting Parris and Calla to follow and close the door behind them.

"I think I am a shapeshifter, considering that lady, I forget what you said her name was, told me to turn into a table," said Parris, raising an eyebrow.
She peered cautiously through the door, then glanced back at Vea. "Wish me good luck, and survival," she said, then stepped inside the room, waiting for Calla to enter.

"Ah," Vea said absent-mindedly, taking a seat in one of several chairs scattered across the room. "Headmistress, new students. Parris" - here Vea pointed at Parris - "and Calla" - here she gestured towards Calla - "both of which are new. Calla's aleready set up, but Parris needs a portal, or a dormitory and schedule. I think she got evaluated by Clarke, and I guess she's a shapeshifter, because Clarke told her to turn into a table."
OoC; Darn WB. Who wants to play Headmistress Silverstein?

ooc// My name in this roleplay is Alanis, Sorry for the correction. " Oh Sorry, I was in my own little world for a momment."She yelled down the corridor. She shut her door making sure she had her key and ran to Vea," Well what should we do. If I remembered right you had to go to Science. I'm Pretty good at that but I think I need a Class list. So Would you help me find out where I'm Supposed to get it? Well I'm thinking it's in here." Pointing to the Head office. So Will you go with me? If you need to go to Science that is understandable"
